Topper are a Swedish band who formed in 2000 and are influenced by the likes of The Clash and Stiff Little Fingers. The line up is Joakim Hammarstedt (lead vocals/guitar), Per Knochenhauer (lead guitar/vocals), Tobias Osterberg (drums) and Staffan Celmins (bass). Celmins replaced original bassist Michael Gustavsson in 2014.
Their first single, Once A Punk Always A Punk was released in 2000 and stayed in the Swedish charts for several weeks. It was also used as the title track of their debut 2005 album, an album that featured another hit single, Off She Goes. They also released a cover of Sham 69's If The Kids Are United. Another 5 year gap ensued before the release of sophomore album Punk Don't Death Just Get Through It.
Last year saw album number 3, Get In The Line. Released on A Message To You Records it's so far seen 2 singles taken from it, So What You Gonna Do and the song featured below......
