   I've been looking forward to posting today's update for a while now. Mike Spent formed Spent Idol way back in 1979 in San Diego though it wasn't until after a 10 year break  and a relaunch in '92 with new members that they really honed their signature sound. Even though they haven't released any new material for many years they still have many a loyal fan, none more so than Angelo Ruggiero who has published some great articles and interviews on his blog and who is co releasing (alongside Spentcityunlimited) Land Of The Lost, a brand new double cd which features unreleased Spent Idols material.
