The Benefit Cheats - BNP Bingo

  Originally from Darwen in Lancashire but currently based in Kingston Upon Thames, London, The Benefit Cheats claim to have been around some blocks but as a unit they've only been together for 3 or 4 years and last year's album, Itch, was their first recording together...... http://thebenefitcheats.bandcamp.com/album/itch

  The line up features Punky Pete (vocals), Jimmy Lean Cheat (guitar), Pasty (bass) and OJ (drums). They play old school punk rock, attract comparisons with bands like Rancid and The Clash, and sing about social and political issues and the plight of the downtrodden underclass of society.

  They're currently rehearsing new material but whilst we await a new record, this is from their debut album, it's called BNP Bingo.....
