S.L.I.P. - No Hope For The U.S.A.

From Braddock, Pittsburgh, hardcore punks S.L.I.P. have just unleashed their new album, Slippy When Wet. It came out earlier this week on Sorry State Records and you can check out a few of it's delights here : https://sorrystaterecords.bandcamp.com/album/slippy-when-wet

They've a bunch of earlier releases on their own Bandcamp page : http://slipforpeace.bandcamp.com/

From the new album and perfectly timed to coincide with the U.S. presidential election, here's a song that tells us that when promoting hatred is the only way those at the top can keep their hold on power, there's No Hope For The U.S.A.......

There’s no hope for the USA
We’re the joke of the world
Care more about who’s commie and gay
Than coal dust and nuclear waste

Don’t get me started on the left
Everyone cares until they’re rich
Fat and safe and full of fear
Why even participate?

The Fascist comeback
Cheap oil
Armchair liberals
The perfect storm of human trash
