The Suburbs - Yesterday's Kids
The Suburbs are an Oi band from Berlin who formed in 2010 and feature former Tower Blocks frontman Holgi. If you're unfamiliar with Tower Blocks I featured a song by them earlier this year : http://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.co.uk/2016/08/towerblocks-general-boredom.html
The line up also features Schneider (ex Tower Blocks/The Pikes) on guitar, Tobi (Commando/The ZusammRottung) on bass and Volker (No Exit/Anne Tanke) on drums. Their influences include Stiff Little Fingers, Cock Sparrer and The Business (they're just one of many great bands to be influenced by The Business, R.I.P. to frontman Micky Fitz who sadly passed away earlier this week).
In 2013 they released a 3 track ep titled Same Old Shit and this was followed last year by debut album The Good Times Are Gone which came out on Contra Records. Reviews of the album liberally toss around comparisons with bands like Cockney Rejects, Sham 69, Blitz etc and the influential Ox fanzine awarded it 9/10.
Their most recent release came out earlier this year on Bootboys Cove Records and was a 7" single featuring the song you'll see posted below. Reminiscing about days of youth, this is the anthemic Yesterday's Kids.......
