Zero Boys - Civilization's Dying

Not to be confused with The Zeros, Zero Boys hail from Indianapolis, Indiana and have been producing hardcore punk music on and off since 1979. Their most popular album is 1982's Vicious Circle, from which today's song comes. Aside from that classic, they released a couple of albums in the early 90's (Make It Stop and The Heimlich Maneuver) and earlier this year there was a new one called Monkey.  They were never as big as some of their contemporaries (eg The Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Circle Jerks or Minor Threat) but they were plenty good enough for their legacy to still burn brightly today. Known for intelligent lyrics and catchy rocking tunes, this song, about the spate of assassination attempts that were all over the news back in the early 80's ( Pope John Paul 11, John Lennon, Ronald Reagan) is a prime example of their greatness.
