Le Reste - Hédoniste

  

  Le Reste (https://www.facebook.com/noussommeslereste/) are a punk rock power trio from Mont De Marsan in the south west of France who formed last year and released a Self Titled tape (featuring 3 originals plus covers of classics by Anti Nowhere League and Devo). They've a bunch of new songs on the way with the first of them being the new single which you'll find below. 

  The line up of the band is Mathieu Saunier (guitar), Robin Jourdan (vocals/bass) and Yano Corbiot (drums), the single is called Hédoniste and you can download it "name your price" here :  https://lereste.bandcamp.com/album/h-doniste 

  I've seen comparisons being made with early 80's US bands such as Circle Jerks, Teen Idles, Black Flag and Minor Threat but to my grizzled old ears I'm hearing maybe hints of Magazine's Shot By Both Sides style guitar work with melodic oi vocals???
