Radiohearts - Daytime Man

Long Beach, California, power pop-punk heroes Radiohearts have graced this blog a couple of times already with Lot To Learn and So Low. Both wonderfully catchy songs that recall classic bands such as The Boys, Generation X, Elvis Costello, The Buzzcocks, Undertones etc. Truth be told I could have chosen pretty much any of the tracks from their 4 eps to feature as they're all excellent. This is one of those rare bands that make churning out catchy tunes look far easier than it is. No surprise then that the arrival of ep number 5 got me excited.

Lining up with Jason Cordero (drums/vocals), Tony Ferralez (guitar/vocals), Ed Stuart (vocals/guitar) and Mike Yager (bass), Radiohearts are all about melodies and hooks. The members ( who have also graced a number of other bands including Tenement Rats, The Distraction, The Thingz and Transistor) borrow from their late 70's heroes but add their own spin to keep things sounding fresh.

The new 7" ep was released a couple of days ago on Wanda Records and features 5 new tracks. It's titled Daytime Man and it's also available digitally here : https://radiohearts.bandcamp.com/album/daytime-man

This is the title track, Daytime Man.....
