The Sheckies - Too Fat For My Leather Jacket
You want a fun pop punk song about ageing and finding your old punk gear is starting to get a little tight? Read on...
The Sheckies are a pop punk band from Cape May, New Jersey, who formed in 2004, split up a few times but have been back together playing their Ramones/Queers/Screeching Weasel inspired brand of music since 2013. There's been numerous line up changes down the years but the current line up is lead vocalist/guitarist Andy Social, drummer/backing vocalist King and bassist/backing vocalist Geo Suicide. This is their first appearance on here though Andy featured a few years ago with his band AndySocial and The Antidotes (https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2016/05/andysocial-and-antidotes-first-kiss.html).

They recently released a split ep in collaboration with Chicago favourites Kobanes (a band who have been on here before https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2016/02/kobanes-that-day.html). It's titled Hanger Time, features 3 songs by each band and is available on ltd vinyl (pink, white, black & glow in the dark) from both Ratgirl Records and Jerkoff Records :
