I first noticed Pscience last year when they released a limited edition single for Gonerfest. Titled X-Ray Eyes and claiming to feature "members of Buck Biloxi And The Fucks, Giorgio Murderer, Trampoline Team and other New Orleans cretins" it was a catchy synth led post punk/ no wave delight. Last month they returned with a debut S/T album which features the aforementioned single plus 8 other songs. It's really rather cool.
The line up of the band is Betsy Shepherd (vocals/guitar) from Thee Tsunamis, Sarah Mason (vocals/synth) from Black Abba, Rob Craig (drums) from Buck Biloxi & the Fucks and Giorgio Murderer, and Sam Delucia (bass) from Trampoline Team (watch out for a new lp from Trampoline Team on Hozac Records soon) . The album's fun, lo-fi and pretty damn quirky. Definitely worthwhile tracking down.
