The SoapGirls - One Way Street
The SoapGirls, aka sisters Noemie and Camille are still getting in trouble for the lack of clothing they wear. They attract abuse and hatred from people with nothing better to worry about but as they said in an interview I did with them a while back (https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2017/08/interview-with-soapgirls.html) "We are Societys Rejects and we are proud to be rejected by a society that feels ok to bully, abuse and stand for nothing." As you'll see from their new video, they still aren't bowing to any pressure to conform. Luckily they have many more fans than haters due to the fact that they can back up their image with talent. Their songs, whilst being as much hard rock as punk rock are damn good.
It's going to be a busy 2019 for them with a tour that'll see them playing the UK, Europe and the USA and a new album called Charlie Brown. Kicking things off however is the single you'll find below. For a DIY band they've managed to achieve a very polished sound, no doubt it'll be getting plays on major radio stations but it's also got enough crossover appeal and fuck you attitude to appear on unimportant little blogs like this one. They're a band that appeal to a broad church.
This is One Way Street...
