One of the most satisfying things about doing this blog is getting in early on new bands, bands that come out of nowhere and impress from the get go. Today's song isn't by one of those bands. It's by The Spectres (https://www.facebook.com/thespectrespgh), "2-piece rock'n'roll trash from the hills of Greenfield in Pittsburgh, PA" featuring James (Guitar/Drums/Percussion/Vocals) & Dan (Guitar/Baritone/Bass/Organ/Vocals).
The sad thing is, after 10 years performing together, they've decided to call it a day. Instead of jumping on the bandwagon at the genesis of a new band, I'm hopping on at the end. But at least they're signing off with a couple of posthumous releases. The first of those is an excellent album titled In Horrifying Sight And Sound which is a garage rock fan's wet dream.
