  A quick shout out today for a song which came out at the tail end of last year but which I missed and have only just stumbled upon.

  Army Of Skanks (https://www.facebook.com/ArmyOS) are Wendy Seenan (bass guitar/lead vocals), Carol Lane (lead guitar/backing vocals) & Terry Downes (drums/backing vocals). They're from Coventry and recently released their 4th album, Negative Politics. 

  As you might gather from the title, it's an album on which the band have their say about the state of the nation. Everything from class wars, 9 to 5 wage slaves and plastic surgery disasters, it's a sad indictment of modern day living.
