On yesterday's Just Some Punk Songs show I took a break from new releases and played a bunch of older songs, one of which was from an album called Ash To The Soil which was released in 2009 and is by Warminster anarcho punks A-Heads. It went down a storm in the chatroom and I was able to tell the listeners that A-Heads had a new record out. It's a split ep on Grow Your Own Records with Pedagree Skum and you can get details on the vinyl version or listen digitally here : https://anthraxuk.bandcamp.com/album/a-heads-pedagree-skum-split

A-Heads have been around since the early 80's and were from the same Wessex farm that produced Culture Shock, The Subhumans and Citizen Fish. They released a couple of very decent singles (Dying Man & Forgotten Hero) along with various split releases and cassettes before splitting up in 1985. Since reforming there's been the aforementioned Ash To The Soil plus a few other releases which you can find here : https://a-heads.bandcamp.com/
Today's song is from the split with Pedagree Skum and it's called Blood On The Pavement.....
