Mutha Luvin Chimps - I Miss Joe Strummer

Mutha Luvin Chimps are a Manchester based band who formed in 2012 and are very much influenced by some of the biggest and best names from punk's golden era (Buzzcocks, Undertones, Ramones, SLF, The Jam etc....). I featured them just over a year ago when they were singing about those orange skinned, Primark dressed women you see wandering round your local town centres. Now they're back with new album The Unusual Suspects.

Featuring Jonny Baggs (vocals), Nozzer (guitar), The Saint (bass/vocals) and Silverback (drums), the band have put together 14 tracks that'll appeal to any old timer punks whilst also being fresh enough to attract the attention of the younger generation. As well as the previously posted Red Alert, there's plenty of other catchy gems to shake your stuff to. Fittest Girl On The Night Shift, Revolution, Hey Ho... I could pretty much highlight the whole album. The tempo is high and the choruses will get you singing along.   This is I Miss Joe Strummer and it's bloody marvelous.....
