Mob Mentality - Fallen Brother

Philadelphia oi band Mob Mentality are preparing to release their debut album, Carry On Tradition. The cd will be out early next month on Subcultural Records, and being lucky enough to have heard it I can promise all genre fans that they won't be disappointed.

Those of you familiar with debut ep No Honour, No Guts, No Glory (https://mobmentalityoi.bandcamp.com/releases) will be pleased to hear that Carry On Tradition is more of the same hard hitting working class oi. It's not reinventing the wheel, the songs deal with many well worn themes such as fighting to survive, working class blues, standing together and fighting to the end. Song titles include Skinhead, You're Not Alone and Boozin' & Bruisin' but it's all accompanied with catchy singalong tunes and a big beefy production. If you're a fan of this type of music then you'll definitely enjoy the album. I can imagine them going down a storm at somewhere like the Rebellion Festival.   Dan from the band has been kind enough to allow me to play a song from the album on next Tuesday's Just Some Punk Songs show so tune in on the 31st at 8pm (gmt) for an exclusive listen :  https://www.facebook.com/events/128267074545909/

This is the song they posted recently on Youtube, it's called Fallen Brother.....
