Cavaverman - Yellow King
Italian horror punks Cavaverman were last in this blog with a song about James Dean (http://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/cavaverman-james-dean.html), today they return with one about the Yellow King. It's taken from their latest album, Tales From Cavafistool, an album that delivers on the promise shown on 2013's debut, James Dead.
If you have ever wished The Misfits were still as good as they were way back when and you enjoy catchy as hell songs about vampires, zombies, teenwolves, ghostbusters, green goblins etc then stop reading now and go straight to their bandcamp page : https://cavaverman.bandcamp.com/
A true detective tale of morbid rituals and a monster in the field, this is Yellow King.....
Yellow King
We’re chasing you, a monster in the fields
Or maybe life is just another bad dream
“Take off your mask”, you said
“Come and die with me little priest”
Walking hand in hand
Into extinction
One last midnight
Brothers and sisters
And he’s waiting
Dark is rising
Yellow king coming my way
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
And he’s waiting
Stars are shining
Yellow king coming my way
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Yellow King
Morbid rituals, black stars risin’ above
Time has come, time is a flat circle
I’m doing this again
Nothing will ever change in eternity
Walking hand in hand
Into extinction
One last midnight
Brothers and sisters
And he’s waiting
Dark is rising
Yellow king coming my way
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
And he’s waiting
Stars are shining
Yellow king coming my way
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Oh! Oh! Oh!
