The Dubtones - All Systems Failing

Today's update is from Dublin ska-punk band The Dubtones. The trio (Whelo - vocals/guitar, Gipo - bass/vocals and Stanto - drums) originally started life as a 4 piece in 2005. Influenced by the likes of The Clash, The Specials, The Ruts and The Jam, their first release was 2006's One For The Road mini album. By the time they recorded debut album (2010's End Of Transmission), they'd slimmed down their line up but they still had the same blistering sound.

Gig wise, they've always been very active and have supported an impressive list of top bands (The Beat, Bad Manners, Rancid, The Members, The Damned, Selecter, The Lurkers, The Vibrators, Menace, The Outcasts etc....).

2013 saw the release of the Asylum mini album which to these grizzled old ears was even better than their impressive early material. From that disc, this is All Systems Failing.....
