Pizzatramp - Do Fascists Dream Of Aryan Sheep?

Sometimes you see a song title and you think to yourself "I bet this is going to be good." When that song's by a band as good as Pizzatramp there's not really any doubt.

So Pizzatramp (https://www.facebook.com/Pizzatrampuk); noisy fuckers from Wales. They've been on this blog numerous times before (with songs about stuff like electronic surveillance, global warming threatening the existence of goths, late night binges affecting one's ability to turn up for work and having a bad back). Fast as fuck songs laced with humour.

Today they return with one of two tracks they've contributed to a Four way split which also includes songs by The Atoms, Healer Of Bastards and Shackleford. It's available on 10" vinyl and the Pizzatramp songs are streaming here : https://pizzatramp.bandcamp.com/album/post-punks

A topical tune, this is called Do Fascists Dream Of Aryan Sheep?

This one's for the anti anteefas
This one's for the white pride believers
This one's for those old pensioner fucks
This one's for the nazi cunts

It's for the Union Jack
This one's for every attack
This one's for thugs getting their kicks
This one’s for the alt right pricks

It’s for the working class Tories
This one’s for “the pride and the glory”
This one’s for the Mail and the Sun
This one’s for the ukip scum

Albert Einstein said and I quote
“Racism is like a disease”
He’s a right clever physics cunt
So I’m inclined to agree

It’s caught
It’s taught
It’s bought
Fought

Learned
Passed down
Systemic
Pandemic

Pizzatramp - I Got Work In The Morning

Yay!  The new Pizzatramp album, Grand Relapse, is finally out and boy does it rock. It's 15 tracks of fast as fuck skate thrash that'll be turning up on more than a few Best Of 2019 lists. Unlike many hardcore bands though, the Welsh 3 piece aren't trying to take down the state, they're taking the piss out of it instead. They might sing about the rise of the far right, climate change or the systematic destruction of the NHS but they don't come over all po-faced and preachy. That doesn't mean they don't care, they'll tackle the important stuff but they'll have fun doing so. And, as in the case of the song that's featured today, they'll also sing about booze & drugs! It's an adrenaline rush of the highest order and you can get it on picture disc or orange vinyl from TNS Records    https://www.tnsrecords.co.uk/shop/distro/cds/pizzatramp-grand-relapse/

  It's also on Bandcamp : https://tnsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/grand-relapse

I'll be playing a different song on tonight's Just Some Punk Songs show (https://www.facebook.com/events/2179639002114442/)  but on here I'm posting their new video. Pointing out the dangers of getting wasted on a school night, this is I Got Work In The Morning...

"This one goes out to all the heroes worldwide who go to gigs and clubs and pubs on school nights and still get absolutely fucking off their trees on spirits and pills regardless of the consequences"

lyrics

No pills
No shots
I got work in the morning

No keys
No lines
I got work in the morning

No fun
No life
I got work

Late nights in vans
Guinness in cans
Won't cancel my plans

No gigs
No weed
I got work in the morning

No clubs
No speed
I got work

25 shots 5000 watts I can see spots

I got work

Pizzatramp - Millions Of Dead Goths

Pizzatramp were on here 18 months ago loudly complaining about having a bad back and they also featured last October with their split 5" ep with Domestics, today they return with a new single that's going to be on their upcoming album, Grand Relapse. One of 2019's most anticipated releases, it'll be out in the spring on TNS Records.

Hailing from Caldicot, South Wales, they're a noisy as fuck 3 piece featuring Sammy Two Cabs (bass/growling), Jimmy No Whammy (guitar/howling) and Danny Bang Bang (fast drums). You can check out their music here :  https://pizzatramp.bandcamp.com/

Get more info, check out live dates and read interviews where they come across as the drunkest and most chaotic band in Britain here :  https://www.facebook.com/Pizzatrampuk/

The video for the new single was posted online yesterday and it bodes well for the album. A fast paced look at the plight of those that dress in black and avoid the sun during the summer heatwave.... "Robert Smith's gone to Iceland" (that's the shop not the country, overseas readers) and I'm pretty sure I heard Helana Bonham Carter get a mention too. Play Loud, this is Millions Of Dead Goths...

The Domestics - Fuckin' Die / A Quiet Life / Shopping

Something slightly different today, 3 (short) songs instead of 1.

East Anglian hardcore punks The Domestics have teamed up with equally as raucous South Wales band Pizzatramp to release a split 5" vinyl ep that sets out to prove that short songs are the best. The ep is titled Discipline and it's out on November 3rd. You can preorder it from TNS Records and Kibou Records though I'd be quick as it's selling almost as fast as the bands play.

https://www.tnsrecords.co.uk/shop/tns-releases/pizzatramp-the-domestics-discipline-split-5-vinyl-pre-order/

Both bands will also shortly feature on an impressive limited edition vinyl only compilation album put together by former Dr And The Crippens' bassist Wayne Elliott and featuring 17 of the bands he's featured on his Pulsebeat show (https://www.mixcloud.com/Wayne_Elliott/). 7 of the best labels around (Boss Tunage, Brassneck, Kibou, Little Rocket, Pumpkin, TNS and Urinal Vinyl) will be joint releasing it and you can get a full tracklist (and pre order it) here :  https://kibourecords.bigcartel.com/product/various-pulsebeat-compilation-lp-random-colour-vinyl

Both band's contributions to the Discipline ep are excellent and either could have been picked as today's Just Some Punk Songs update. The reason The Domestics are the headline act is.... well, you try and get Pizzatramp's song titles in the headline! I will however post the video for those 3 songs....

Pretty damn frantic, yeah?

Things certainly don't slow down on The Domestics' side of the ep. Clocking in at around the 1 minute mark, this is Fuckin' Die, A Quiet Life and Shopping...

PizzaTramp - My Back's Fucking Fucked

As some of you know, as well as this blog there's also a Just Some Punk Songs weekly internet show in which I try and bring you the best new punk releases. It has a small but knowledgeable following split between the live show and the mixcloud saved version. The benefit of listening live is that you can access a chatroom and give your thoughts on the songs I play. Due to this I know that today's band are much loved by pretty much everyone who hears them. (Last week's show, which featured PizzaTramp, is saved here if anyone's interested...  https://www.mixcloud.com/mick-fletcher/just-some-punk-songs-130717/).

Anyway, PizzaTramp. Fuck me they rock. They featured here previously with a track from last year's excellent Blowing Chunks album and today they return with a rip roaring blast of sonic fury taken from new ep Revenge Of The Bangertronic Dan ep. It's their 4th ep, it was recorded in a couple of hours so what you get is the band at their rawest, warts and all. It's great passionate punk rock music and you can find it here : https://pizzatramp.bandcamp.com/album/revenge-of-the-bangertronic-dan

Are you ready to rock out? This is My Back's Fucking Fucked.....

Give me pills I'll go self medication
Don't need a note I got self certification
Hurts when I'm down and it hurts when I'm up
All I know is that my back's fucking fucked

Never mind only forty more years
Every night another forty more beers
Makes you feel quite down on your luck
All I know is that my back's fucking fucked
