  Snotty Tulsa trio The Wheelz (https://www.facebook.com/TheWheelz) are back with a new 7". It's their third appearance on here (following their cover of The Partisan's So Neat and I'm So Tired Of Living In The USA).   With influences including the likes of '77 era punk, Toy Dolls, The Briefs etc we're served up a fun four tracks of irreverent old school punk including a spirited cover of Splodgenessabounds/Rolf Harris' Two Little Boys. Elsewhere we get Washed Away, a catchy singalong with a Clash style guitar riff, the short and punchy Generation Turncoat and a lead track (see below) which anthemically rails against those in positions of power who just want control to serve their own ends.

The Dinz - I'm Alright

 

  Before I finish the year with a 2 day special Top 100 songs of 2020 Chart, I'm going to post something by a band that sound like a throw back to 1977. They're from Portsmouth, they're called The Dinz (https://www.facebook.com/robertsofsouthsea/) and they unapologetically base their sound on punk's golden era (though they add a slice of anarcho with a funk twist). 

  They released a debut Self Titled album in 2019 on Trashwax Records ("No garage punk, no surf and no rockabilly type stuff at all here...Punk Rawk from Pompey (Portsmouth in England). A blistering album of 77-78 styled punk (although they only got together in April 2018)...All original tracks and banged out over a couple of weeks...A bit of early SLF, a touch of The Addicts and a whole heap of attitude...Not surprising this is such a good album considering their previous ! The Fialky (The Violets) - Feeling

 

  A big thanks to Guy Trelford today. When I started the New Punk Rock Music group on Facebook it was intended as an outlet for new bands to post their music and a side benefit for myself was that I could use the ones I enjoyed most to post on here when I was running low on ideas. Guy's been posting lots of great songs lately, including the one I'm sharing today.

  The Fialky are a '77 style punk band from Prague, Czech Republic, who formed in 2000 and who's line up currently features Marian "Kecup" Kudlea (vocals/guitar), Ota Cernohous (bass), Tom Calda (drums) and Marcel "Green" Janecek (vocals/guitar). The English translation of their name is The Violets.

  They've put out several releases, their latest album was 2015's Co Krok, To 15 Let Punkrock (an extended version of which is being rereleased). You can check them out here :

 They're currently filling the gap between albums by releasing a couple of cover songs, one will be out in early December whilst the first of them, a version of the Sex Pistols classic, has just seen the light of day. This is Feeling......
