Trash Knife (https://www.facebook.com/trashknife/) are Lauren (vocals), Steve (guitar), Sean (guitar), Leora (bass) & Mat (drums). They're a hardcore punk band from Philadelphia who I said reminded me a little of Neighborhood Brats and Trampoline Team when I featured a song from their excellent EP/EP collection earlier this year https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2020/03/trash-knife-i-need.html. They're back today with a new track to tide us over whilst they're busy working on a new album. It was recorded last year at temple of the dog and it reminds us what a powerhouse the band are. Sounding as though they've been transported from a sweat drenched 80's fleapit venue, the band crash and bang with gleeful delight whilst Lauren spits and screams and hollers about not being a baby maker or an incubator. It's a song that whizzes by and seems to finish almost as soon as it's begun but it does the job of making us hope the album isn't too much of a distant proposition.
