Daiei Spray - I Don't Care

Daiei Spray (https://www.facebook.com/DAIEISPRAY/) are a melodic punk band who formed in 2004 in Hirosaki, a city on the Japanese island of Honshu and who are now based in Tokyo. I've seen plenty of comparisons being bandied around with the likes of HDQ, Dag Nasty, Husker Du, Naked Raygun etc. They released debut album, Isn't Brazing in 2017 (https://serialbowlrecords.bandcamp.com/album/daiei-spray-isnt-brazing) and have recently followed it up with another winner in the form of Behind The Wall.

Named after a Japanese brand of strong hairspray which is popular with the local punk community, the band line up with Kazuki Yagihashi (vocals), Kyosuki Shibata (guitar), Yota Onodera (bass) and Akira Saitou (drums). The new album was originally released in March by local label Debauch Mood and has recently been given a UK release via hot Sunderland diy outlet Serial Bowl Records. It's available on 12' vinyl (which comes with a free CD though as of writing there was only 1 copy left so you're probably out of luck now), CD and digital download. You can get it here :  https://serialbowlrecords.bandcamp.com/album/behind-the-wall

I played single, Shame On You, on a recent Just Some Punk Songs show (the video for it is here :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5018YT6TrVQ) so I'll shine the spotlight on a different song today. This is I Don't Care...
