Dead Rejects - Leave Me Alone
Dead Rejects are from Bayonne, New Jersey and have a mainstay of Shane Sparacello (vocals/guitar) and Adam Cichocki (drums) as well as Mike Benus (keys) and Jeff McKeow (bass). They play aggressive ska punk and list amongst their influences the likes of No Cash, The Infested, Choking Victim, Night Gaunts etc. They've featured on here a couple of times previously with songs from 2015's Could Be Worse album and 2017's Grave Mistakes. If you missed them you can check out their back catalogue here : https://deadrejectsnj.bandcamp.com/
They return today with a song from their upcoming new album, Dead Days. Initially planned as a 5 track ep, their Indiegogo funding campaign appears to have been successful enough for them to add extra tracks. It's been a year in the making but the release is imminent. You can get more details here : https://www.facebook.com/DeadRejectsNJ/
This is a taste of what to expect. Dark lyrics about wanting space to battle through one's problems whilst the music is upbeat and packs a punch. There's not enough decent ska punk around nowadays but Dead Rejects are still flying the flag for the genre. This is Leave Me Alone...

Dead Rejects - Whatever Forever
Dead Rejects are a ska/punk band from New Jersey who last featured on here a couple of years ago (http://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/dead-rejects-jealousy-feat-night-gaunts.html) but who return today with a song from their upcoming album Grave Mistakes. Unsurprisingly they list amongst their influences the likes of Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, No Cash, The Infested etc but they also have a liking for the catchier side of punk (Descendents, Screeching Weasel, Sum 41...).
The 2 mainstays of the band have been Shane Sparacello (vocals/guitar) and Adam Cichocki (drums) but they've always been keen to call upon the services of other musicians when required such as current bassist Mike Benus. You can check out their music here : https://deadrejectsnj.bandcamp.com/
As I mentioned, there's a new album called Grave Mistakes and it's due out next month. The first single from it is a catchy number that gradually builds to an uptempo ending, it promises great things from the album. This is Whatever Forever....

Dead Rejects - Jealousy [Feat. Night Gaunts]
Dead Rejects are a 2 piece ska/punk band from Bayonne, New Jersey comprising Shane Sparacello (vocals/guitar) and Adam Cichocki (drums/bass). They aren't averse to bringing in friends to help them flesh things out a little (today's song being an example).
They released their first ep, Sleeping Is For Suckers in 2012, followed it up with ep number 2, Screaming By Myself and then number 3, Positively Depressing (the compilation Songs For The Dead collected all the ep tracks together and will get a first release on cd this month). Last summer they unleashed their debut album, This Is Killing Me (punknews.org called it "definitely a lead contender for album of the year so far...") and they've quickly followed it up with their latest lp, Could Be Worse. You can check all those releases out on Bandcamp where they're available "name your price"...... http://deadrejectsnj.bandcamp.com/.
The song I'm going with today features guest vocals from Paul Jonassen who's the vocalist with Auckland (New Zealand) ska/hip hop outfit Night Gaunts. It's on the new album and it's called Jealousy......
I fucking hate this, Ive tried to resist
You're too busy doing what you wanna do
I feel defeated, You have retreated
All I do is drive everyone away
It still dwells inside of me [This Jealousy]
Rotting deep within my being [Its all I see]
It still dwells inside of me [This Jealousy]
It has consumed all that Ill be [Its ruined me]
This is so unfair
I wish you werent here
Cause baby then I wouldnt be such a fucking mess
So can I save this, is it worth taking?
Taking a chance of driving you away
I feel sedated, So under rated
Just classic behavior from the dead
This jealously has got the best of me
This jealously will take the rest of me
