Macho Boys are a band that I've noticed causing a bit of a buzz lately. From Portland, Oregon they boast members of Low Culture and Piss Test; Tekiah Elzey (vocals), Samantha Gladu (bass), Chris Mason (guitar) and Sam George (drums).
They're a female fronted, hardcore punk band with their influences being mostly classic 80's hardcore but also encompassing the likes of Neighborhood Brats and G.L.O.S.S. If you're looking for aggressive, shorter/faster/louder songs you'll not be disappointed.
Early last year they released a 6 track demo which earned them plenty of positive press and now they're back with their self titled debut album. It'll be released on vinyl at the end of this month on Neck Chop Records (US) and Sabotage Records (Europe) but it's already available digitally here : https://machoboys.bandcamp.com/album/macho-boys
