  London's Dream Nails (https://www.facebook.com/yourdreamnails/) were planning to release their debut album next month but unfortunately due to the current Corona Virus outbreak it's (and the tour in support of it) been put back till September. To whet our appetites, they've been drip feeding us a series of singles and it's the latest one that I'm featuring today...

  Described by i-D magazine as the best DIY all-girl punk queertet since Bikini Kill, the band don't hold back with their views on feminism, homophobia and even getting women to the front at their gigs. They're a serious band with serious concerns but they're not afraid to have fun too. They're fresh, energetic and have been picking up plenty of rave reviews and mainstream airplay.

  This single was written following the attack, on a London bus, of Melania Geymonat and Christine Hannigan by a group of young men. It asks the question, what makes so many misogynistic guys hate what they most desire? (The most popular searched term on online porn sites in 2019 was "Lesbian"). No one deserves to live in fear.

Dream Nails - Vagina Police

  When London feminist punk witches Dream Nails recently released their new single I was going to feature it on here but hung on hoping they'd put flip side Fascism Is Coming (Get Out Of Bed) on Youtube so I could share it with you guys. After waiting a while I decided to ask if I could stick it on Youtube myself, unfortunately they said no. There is however a video already on there for the other song on the single so even though many of you will already have seen it, that's what you're getting today.   "Nobody cares if your dick is on fire..."

   If you check out their Facebook page...(https://www.facebook.com/yourdreamnails/) you'll discover that London band Dream Nails are "Queer feminist punk witches ready to hex you." I can safely say that after listening to their debut ep these 4 enchantresses certainly have me under their spell.

  Described as being like The Ramones meets Bikini Kill, it's no surprise that their music is up tempo, fun punk that seethes with a strong undercurrent of swirling anger. They've got something to say but they aren't going to be all po faced and self righteous about it when they can get their message across just as forcefully whilst having a good time.

  I played the title track on last week's Just Some Punk Songs show (http://mixlr.com/just-some-punk-songs/showreel/just-some-punk-songs-190202/) so today I'll go with the song that they released a video for a couple of months ago.
