  It's a collaboration between Atlanta ,Georgia trio The Coathangers (https://www.facebook.com/TheCoathangersATL) who provide vocals and Austin, Texas, rockers ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead who play the instruments (https://www.facebook.com/andyouwillknowusbythetrailofdead). 

  The lyrics have been tweaked for this version to reflect what's currently happening in Ukraine. You can get the track from Bandcamp and all proceeds will go CARE for its Ukraine Crisis Fund, which will provide immediate aid including food, water, hygiene kits, support services and direct cash assistance. The Coathangers - Bimbo

  The last time Coathangers featured on here was with Parasite (https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2017/02/the-coathangers-parasite.html), a song that was so good it finished in the Just Some Punk Songs Top 10 of 2017. As you may know by now, they've a new album titled The Devil You Know scheduled for release on March 8th on Suicide Squeeze Records. If the teaser song at the bottom of this update is anything to go by, it's going to be a definite winner.

  The Devil You Know is their 6th album and it's a record that "takes their established take on vitriolic punk, playful house-party anthems and heartworn ballads and melds them into a new sound that retains all their former live show glories while revealing a new level of songwriting and nuance." The Coathangers - Parasite

  One of my favourite songs of 2017 so far is a new one by Atlanta all female trio The Coathangers. They formed as a 4 piece in 2006 but following the departure in 2013 of keyboard player Bebe Coathanger slimmed down to the current line up of Crook Kid Coathanger (Julia Kugel) (vocals/guitar), Minnie Coathanger (Meredith Franco) (bass/vocals) and Rusty Coathanger (Stephanie Luke) (drums/vocals).
