Scene Killers - They're Wrong

  

  Scene Killers (https://www.facebook.com/scenekillers) are the Nottingham based "supergroup" who's ranks include members from bands such as "Blatz, The Hip Priests, TV Crime, The Pathogens, and dozens of others." They released a debut ep at the end of 2020 titled Rev It Up and I featured a song from it on here : https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2020/11/scene-killers-not-so-working-class.html

  Now they return fired up and punchy as ever with a debut album titled Beat Beat Beat. It's available now on coloured vinyl from Brassneck Records (UK) & Lavasocks Records (USA).

  There's 9 tracks of fast paced punk rock which is nicely rough around the edges but has enough hooks to hang all the hats you could ever need on. Kicking off with single Gimme Gimme, it rattles along with barely a pause for breath. Garage meets hardcore and it sounds great. 

  This track was one of the highlights for me, it's about those in power taking the piss out of us whilst being cheered on by flag waving knuckleheads who should know better. It's called They're Wrong...

  Sounds promising yeah? 

  Well going off the evidence presented by the 2 teaser tracks available on Bandcamp that promise will come to fruition when the Scene Killers (https://www.facebook.com/scenekillers/) release their debut ep. It'll be titled Rev it Up and it's due on December 4th via No Front Teeth Records 

  The band features a line up of Jesse Luscious (Vocals), Austin Rocket (Guitar), John G Warrior (Bass) and Luke J Moss (Drums). They made their live debut back in January, in Nottingham, sharing a bill with TV Crime and Vital but with 2020 going to shit it's been a frustrating year.
