Loose Nukes - KGB

A 3rd Just Some Punk Songs appearance for Houston hardcore heroes Loose Nukes (https://www.facebook.com/loosenukes). Following on from February's Mexploitation album they return today with a choice cut from a new 5 track ep titled Dead Future. Pitched as 5 songs from the vault and featuring "borrowed" Napalm Death cover art, it's as bruising a release as you'd expect. The blistering title track is accompanied by blitzkrieg bursts of punk rock fury with titles such as Erupt Guts, Kill The Lights & Violent Christmas. No fat, all fury...these guys don't fuck around.

This is the longest track on the ep, very nearly reaching the 2 minute mark. It proves they do make them like they did back in the good old days. It's called KGB...

Loose Nukes - Inferno

Formed in 2016 and from Houston, Texas, Loose Nukes (https://www.facebook.com/loosenukes) featured on here a couple of years ago with a song from their Home Recording ep  (https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2019/07/loose-nukes-remote-kkkontrol.html).

That song went on to feature on the following year's Cult Leaders album (which was described as a mutant sound of hardcore/punk fused with elements of speed and ferocity in grindcore/power-violence). This year has seen a split 7" with Under Attack and now the Black Mass demos lp which features 11 hard hitting cuts.

If you like your punk music to pummel you senseless then you can find the album here :  https://loosenukestx.bandcamp.com/album/black-mass-demos

  This track's called Inferno...

Loose Nukes - Remote KKKontrol

Loose Nukes are a 4 piece from Houston, Texas. They play hardcore. They feature Mike Grayum (vocals), Derek Harvey (guitar) and Matt Juarez (bass) and new recruit Frank Gold (drums). Other bands they've played in include Landfill, Crime Wave, Janitor, and Gone Rogue. Their Bandcamp profile says they'll rip your face off and use your battered skull as an ashtray. They shouldn't be confused with the hardcore band called Loose Nukes that are from Pittsburg/Philadelphia. Rather like the sentences in this paragraph, their songs are short and snappy. More info on them here :   https://www.facebook.com/loosenukes/

They've 3 releases. 2017's Fast Forward To Extinction lp. 2018's Violent Retribution ep and new ep Home Recording. They're all on Bandcamp with the latest available name your price :   https://loosenukeshouston.bandcamp.com/album/home-recording

This is the lead track on Home Recording, it's called Remote KKKontrol....
