Trampoline Team - Patty Hearst

 

  BOOM! Pressing play on the new, Self Titled, album by New Orleans' Trampoline Team is akin to lighting the blue touch paper and causing an explosion of gloriously boisterous noise. The songs on the album are all fuck you, female fronted rock n roll buzzbombs which combine to produce an adrenaline rush of the highest order. God damn I'm impressed.

  It's only a couple of months since the band featured on here with a track from the equally as frenetic Kill You ep https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2019/06/trampoline-team-kill-you-on-streetcar.html and the album keeps up that mad dash to the finish line pace. There's not been much in the way of updates posted recently on the band's Facebook page so I've not much new info to share to pad out this write up but I did notice the mega prolific DD Owen saying he'd played drums on the album and I also came across a whole bunch of upcoming European tour dates which I might as well share :

  New Orleans 3 piece Trampoline Team have featured twice previously on here with I'll Destroy You and Drug Culture and today they return to make it a triple whammy of killer songs.

  They've been around since 2011 and have just released what's probably their hardest hitting release to date. It's a new ep, titled Kill You and it's a high octane ball of fury. Think classic Rip Off Records, think Neighborhood Brats at their angriest. Think good old down and dirty garage punk. Trampoline Team - Drug Culture

 

  Trampoline team are from New Orleans, formed in 2011 and are a 3 piece featuring Sam De Lucia (vocals/bass), Shelby Grosz (drums) and Michael He-Man (guitar). They play mostly sub 2 minute female fronted punk bangers that contain a hint of C86 UK indie.

  Their debut release was 2013's Mike Life Crisis ep, they followed it with 2014's Velveteen Dream before a year later releasing debut album Make It Faster. Fast paced, snotty but tuneful female fronted punk, what's not to love.

  Last month they returned with a new single, 2 tracks, Drug Culture & I Don't Play Games, unsurprisingly it's wonderful. It doesn't stray far from the tried and tested, you want urgent and catchy punk fuzzbombs, that's exactly what you get. Check out their music here : https://trampolineteam.bandcamp.com/

Trampoline Team - I'll Destroy You

  Here's another great song from 2015 that I missed when it was released towards the back end of last year. It's by Trampoline Team, a band that come from New Orleans and who formed in 2011.

 They released the Midlife Crisis ep in 2013 and followed it up last year with the Velveteen Dream 7". They're a trio featuring Sam DeLucia (vocals/bass), Michael He-Man (Hohan) (guitar/vocals) and Shelby Grosz (drums).
