When I previously featured Heavy Metal back in 2017 (https://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.com/2017/10/heavy-metal-use-your-skull.html) I said they were a 3 piece from Berlin who had released 3 albums in around 2 years. That output was augmented in 2019 by LP 4 (Double LP) and then last November they posted a teaser track to LP 5. You can find those releases here : https://heavymetal.bandcamp.com/
Finally, that 5th long player is up for pre order. It'll be titled V: Live at the Gas Station Fighting The Devil (it's not a live album and the band don't play heavy metal music!), it'll be out on July 23rd on Total Punk Records and a couple of tracks are already streaming here : https://totalpunkrecords.bandcamp.com/album/v-live-at-the-gas-station-fighting-the-devil-2
The album kicks off with a track called Motorhead (nope, still not heavy metal. instead Bandcamp promises a reverb blanketed Jesus And Mary Chain vibe). This is followed by one of the teaser tracks, it's titled Motorbike and it nicely whets the appetite for what's to come (which were promised is party music for party mutants which will make us herk, jerk, spazz out, and let loose... I'm sold!)
A 3rd track has popped up on Youtube and may be my favourite yet. It begins with a snarling canine before morphing into something akin to a 70's chart hit song from Planet Weirdo. It's called Walking The Dog...
