Lassie (yes, they're named after the dawg!) are a Leipzig based quintet featuring Mari, Shreddy, Kat, Teun & Frizzl. They've been around for about 3 years releasing music that mixes and mashes up elements of punk, garage, synth, power pop, post-punk and no doubt several other styles into something of their own. It's whacked out fun and you can check out their releases here : https://lasssie.bandcamp.com/
There's also a new album titled The Golden Age Of... which is coming out on a very limited cassette (50 copies) on Valencia label Discos Peroquébien. It collects together those early releases into one convenient (and very enjoyable) package. If you're looking for something just that little bit different then you should definitely check it out : https://discosperoquebien.bandcamp.com/album/the-golden-age-of
This track is about a king of the street cop on a glorious day with his pedal to the metal. You won't hear him coming. It's called Zegway Cop...
