The Vaseliners - She's a stalker
More Italian pop punk today, this time it's a song from a brand new album from The Vaseliners. From a town situated to the west of Vicenza called Montecchio Maggiore, they formed in 2012. Fans of bands like The Ramones, Screeching Weasel, Queers, Manges, Apers and Groovie Ghoulies, they were initially just having fun but have started to take things more seriously over time and have honed their 90's era old school Lookout Records style into harmony strong, super catchy pop punk that you might just find yourself singing along to.
A demo (2013), a promo (2015) and a couple of line up changes have paved the way for their debut album, Sorry, We're Late. Recorded at Hate Studios and featuring Albe (vocals), Gian (guitar), Miki (drums), Roccia (guitar/backing vocals) and Save (bass/backing vocals), it's available now either direct from Monster Zero (http://www.monsterzerorecords.com/products/vaseliners-the-sorry-were-late-cd) or from Bandcamp : https://thevaseliners.bandcamp.com/.
From the album, this is She's A Stalker......
No no more texts or emails
don't wanna know how you feel now
stop walkin’ my way till home
I've already closed that door
You're happy 'n' sad at the same time
a shiny sun while it rains why
do you call me after midnight
just to say I miss you?
I don't reply to the words
you shout: “Die! Die!”
but then regrets eat your soul
and you: “Cry! Cry!”
Dynamics of reflection
out of my comprehension
get a valium and calm down
You crazy you crazy
Your brain should be analyzed
There's just a fine line to split up
from order ‘n’ bliss to madness
you haven't crossed it yet but
you've already come into sadness
I don't reply to the words
you shout: “Die! Die!”
but then regrets eat your soul
and you: “Cry! Cry!”
Dynamics of reflection
out of my comprehension
get a valium and calm down
You crazy you crazy
Your brain should be analyzed
