Paint Fumes (https://www.facebook.com/Paintfumes) are from Charlotte, North Carolina and have been around for over a decade now though I'm pretty sure I didn't really register them till last year's Real Romancer album (https://digpaintfumes.bandcamp.com/album/real-romancer).
Previous to that they'd released a couple of albums on Get Hip Recordings after starting out with 2012 debut lp Uck Life on Slovenly Recordings.
And now they've come full circle by returning to Slovenly with a new single. It's going to be out on September 6th and it'll be available on both gold or black vinyl. Numbers are limited so get in fast if you fancy a copy. https://paintfumesnc.bandcamp.com/album/paint-fumes-crime-of-love-b-w-try-me-ep
There's a new album in the pipeline too.
The flipside of the single will be a cover of Try Me, a 1958 hit for James Brown and the Famous Flames. The song you'll find below really deserves to be a hit too. It's a catchy punked up slice of power pop and it's called Crime Of Love...
