Another song about the boys in blue today courtesy of SUCK (https://www.facebook.com/suckband666), a synth infused garage punk trio from Kassel in Germany. They formed a couple of years ago when members of Catch As Catch Can and Counts On Crack joined forces with comic book artist Isabell Rutz. Their debut release was a 6 track ep titled Frog and they followed it up with a split ep with Berlin fuzz rock band BALAGAN.
And now they're preparing to release their 1st 7".
Featuring Isabell Rutz (vocals/synth), Patrick Pietsch (drums/vocals) & Jakob Fast (guitar/bass/backup vocals) it'll be out on June 18th via Leeds label Eeasy Records (https://www.eeasyrecords.com/) though it'll be limited to 50 copies so get those pre orders in quick. It's streaming now : https://suck.bandcamp.com/album/copkiller-b-w-hell-and-heaven
This is the A side, it's a 77 second burst of "filth thrash/garage caked in synth and shouty vocals" which conjures up imagery of screaming sirens, tear gas, flailing truncheons and broken bones. It finishes with the title shouted over and over again. It's a short but potent thrill.
It's called Copkiller...
