One of those songs today by a band I know pretty much bugger all about but I'll try and flesh this update out to the usual couple of paragraphs. Urgent Matter are from Singapore. In 2017 they released a cassette demo which featured 7 tracks lasting less than 7 minutes in total. They returned last month with their debut proper release. It's Self Titled and this time around they treat us to 8 tracks lasting around 8 minutes. Brevity is the name of the game, Urgent by name, urgent by nature. The song you'll find below is an epic by Urgent Matter standards, breaking the 2 minute mark it's the longest one they've released. It's one of the slower tracks, all brooding, mean and moody but very cool utilising to good effect repetition and diy garage riffing. This is So Punk...
