The Automatics - Hangin Out At EJs (Remastered)

"They're just wasting away

Hangin out at EJs

Living their lives day by day by day

Hoping everything will be ok..."

In what's turning out to be a three day stretch of Mooster Records' punk goodness, today's update features a sneak preview of a remastered version of a classic song by The Automatics.

The band were from Portland, Oregon, were together between 1994-2000 and released a bunch of awesome pop punk records which you can check out here : https://automatics.bandcamp.com/music

They originally featured on this blog here : http://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/automatics-punk-rock.html

The version of Hangin Out At EJs that'll you'll see below has been remastered by Mass Giorgini and will feature on the vinyl version of their s/t album which is pencilled in for release on Mooster Records in May 2016. Many thanks to Brandon for the song, a song he describes as  "a pristine example of the collision of rock and pop. Harmonies abound and the guitar choogs right along providing a layer of warmth to wrap you up in"
