ATTESTOR - Keep It On/Off

ATTESTOR are a D-Beat punk 3 piece from Brighton who formed at the end of 2019 following the breakup of Watchcries (https://watchcries.bandcamp.com/). A couple of members from that band, bassist Steve Barry and drummer Ant Cole roped in Tadpole Records head honcho Darren Bourne on vocals and with no fucking around they quickly released a 6 track demo. As well as Watchcries, the various members have also been in numerous other bands (Dopefight, TEEF, Unslug, H8Ball, System Defector, War Wolf, MTA, etc...) which I can't recall but after hearing the demo I'm glad I've finally arrived at the party. The music's heavy, it reminds me of The Domestics (there's a chance both bands may be sharing a stage soon) and the lyrics are about the right wing media, greedy landlords, the rise in fascism, mental health etc... Attestor means to bear witness to and it's an apt moniker for a band that are calling out many of society's wrongs. You can snap it up name your price here :   https://attestorpunx.bandcamp.com/releases

My favourite song so far comes midway through the ep, it's called Keep It On/Off...
